Music visualizer for a TV: turn your party screen into part of the music
A TV can do more at a party than show a playlist or a silent video. With Kamilovision, the music you are actually playing shapes a live visual world. Your Apple device runs the app; a compatible TV displays the result. The two decisions that matter are how music reaches the app and how the picture reaches the screen.

Choose the music source before the display
If music plays on the Mac running Kamilovision, choose System Audio and grant the requested permission. If the music comes from a separate DJ setup, record player or speaker, use a compatible audio input or the microphone. A microphone is often the quickest way to get a house party started because it hears the sound already in the room.
On iPhone and iPad, use the microphone or a compatible connected audio input. They cannot capture arbitrary audio playing inside another app. Sending a picture to the TV does not, by itself, give Kamilovision a clean digital copy of the music.
Connect the television with HDMI or AirPlay
For a wired setup, connect the Apple device through a compatible video cable or adapter to an HDMI input on the TV. Select that input and confirm the device recognizes the display. Your exact adapter, device and TV determine supported output modes.
For wireless output, use an AirPlay-compatible receiver on the same Wi-Fi network. On iPhone or iPad, start Screen Mirroring in Control Center and select the receiver. AirPlay is not a native Chromecast connection. If the TV only supports Chromecast, use a compatible wired route or an AirPlay receiver instead.
Check what the guests can see
Full screen fills the current display; a supported audience-display route can keep controls on your device and put only visuals on the TV. Open Presentation in Kamilovision and inspect the actual audience output. Some connections mirror the control screen, so verify the result instead of assuming every route creates a separate display.
Keep music playing through the speaker system you want people to hear. Screen Mirroring may affect your playback destination. Listen to the room after connecting the TV and confirm both the music and visual input are still active.
Make the picture fit the party
Start with Geometry Flux for a bold abstract screen, or use an ocean or jellyfish world for a calmer listening atmosphere. Select a small set of worlds rather than changing every setting during the party. Reduce intensity or motion if the screen dominates conversation.
A reactive picture depends on a useful input signal, not just high volume. Watch the input meter, calibrate musical response with a representative track, and compare a quieter section with a stronger beat. If the meter stays flat, fix the source or permission first.
Rehearse the complete route
Test a full track before guests arrive. Check the TV input, audio destination, analyzer meter, audience picture and response through a transition. If wireless timing is distracting, try HDMI and retest the same passage. No connection can be assumed to have zero delay.
Kamilovision starts with free worlds. The App Store collection unlocks additional worlds through its purchase options; check the current listing for local pricing. A dedicated TV app is not required for a compatible HDMI or AirPlay setup.
Before guests arrive
- Music is audible through the intended speakers.
- The selected input meter responds to the music.
- The TV shows the intended picture rather than an unexpected control screen.
- Motion and brightness suit the room.
- The complete setup has played through a track without interruption.
